Our Workshop Team, based in South East Surrey, are key to the smooth running of
Cubic’s Field Service Engineering team in their service to our customers.
Our Workshop Engineers are at the heart of our Workshop Team, and have several
responsibilities which include:
- Carrying out repairs on a wide variety of electronic and electromechanical equipment.
- Liaising with other departments to resolve problems as they occur.
- Providing occasional cover in the field.
Our Workshop Engineer jobs call for individuals with a relevant City and Guilds Level 2
qualification and previous experience of working in a similar role. These jobs require
self-motivated individuals who have the ability to multi-task and be flexible.
Our Field Service Engineering Team based in London, are
essential to our Customer Service
operation at Cubic. Our Field Service Engineers work across selected locations in
Surrey and/or London and respond promptly to customer service calls.
Field Service Engineer jobs involve:
- Carrying out first and second line maintenance on faulty equipment.
- Carrying out repairs to modular level on site.
- Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with statutory Health and Safety Regulations.
These jobs call for individuals with an engineering qualification and a track record in a
high-tech, service and maintenance environment. A positive can-do attitude and the ability to
work both quickly and efficiently are key. In addition, as our Field Service Engineers are
required to drive to site across the South East, it is essential that they all have a full UK driving licence.
Our Service Centre jobs are based in South East Surrey, and
are responsible for providing high
quality support to the customers of Cubic. As the service centre is a customer facing department,
many of our Service Centre staff come from a contact centre,
call centre or customer services background.
Our Helpdesk Analysts make up the front-line of Cubic’s customer service function and
are key to keeping our customers happy. Helpdesk Analysts are responsible for:
- Researching and responding to queries received via telephone calls and emails in a timely manner.
- Liaising with customers and sub-contractors where necessary in order to resolve calls.
- Presenting a professional and responsible image to Cubic customers.
Our Helpdesk Analyst jobs call for individuals with some experience of service centre
technology and processes and who are passionate about customer services. Excellent communication skills are a
requirement for these jobs, as is the ability to multi task.
