Our Contracts Team, based in South East Surrey, help to maintain good relationships with our clients and ensure that Cubic complies with its contractual obligations.
Contract Managers are especially key to this team and have a number of responsibilities which include:
- Developing relations with key and potential customers so as to maximise Cubic’s chances in opportunities.
- Reviewing requests for proposals and current proposals, in order to assess risk and evaluate terms.
- Leading negotiations with Cubic’s customers and suppliers to ensure robust contracts are in place in a timely manner.
Our Contract Manager jobs call for individuals with an HND in a technical or business discipline and prior experience in a similar role. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to these jobs, as is a keen attention to detail.
Our Finance Team, based in South East Surrey, are integral to our business at Cubic.
In particular our Project Accountants are key to controlling project costs. Project Accountants have several key responsibilities, including:
- Providing a project control, reporting and analysis service to Project Managers and Senior Management.
- Informing and advising Project Managers on billings, retentions, debtors and cash flow in relation to projects.
- Advising the Project Accountant of any variances that may affect the outcome of the project.
Our Project Accountant jobs call for individuals who are actively studying for their ACCA + CIMA or equivalent examinations and have previous experience in an office environment. Individuals who are ambitions, have good interpersonal skills and pay attention to the details will be well suited to our Project Accountant jobs.
Our Projects Team, based in South East Surrey, are essential in maintaining good relationships with our customers and ensuring projects run smoothly.
Project Managers are especially active in maintaining effective working relationships and are the primary contact for our customers. Project Manager responsibilities include:
- Managing, overseeing, monitoring and approving all elements of projects from inception to completion (project value can be up to £5million).
- Managing commercial provisions with the customer.
- Planning and managing available resources for projects, including engineering, production, computer support and installation facilities.
Our Project Manager jobs call for individuals educated to a degree level in an engineering or other technical discipline with experience in managing the full Project Management lifecycle. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively multi-task are also required for these jobs.
